Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our collectibles

What is the difference between a Raw card and a Graded card?

Raw Card: An ungraded, uncertified card kept in standard sleeves or top loaders. Prices vary based on estimated raw condition. Graded Card (Slab): A card authenticated, condition-scored (typically on a 1–10 scale), and permanently encapsulated in a protective plastic slab by a professional grading company like PSA, Beckett (BGS), or CGC. High grades (PSA 9 or PSA 10) command significant price premiums over raw copies.

What determines a Pokémon card's market value?

Card prices are driven by four primary factors: Rarity & Print Run: Chase rarities (Special Illustration Rares, Gold Stars, Alternate Arts) and low-print promotional cards have far lower pull rates. Condition: A flawless Near Mint copy can be worth exponentially more than a damaged version of the exact same card. Character Popularity: Iconic Pokémon like Charizard, Pikachu, Umbreon, and Gengar consistently hold higher demand. Competitive Playability: Cards that dominate the active TCG tournament metagame experience value spikes due to player demand.

What is the best way to safely store and protect Pokémon cards?

Proper storage prevents fading, warping, and edge wear: Single Cards: Double-sleeve using a tight inner sleeve paired with a standard penny sleeve, then insert into a rigid Toploader or Card Saver. Binder Storage: Use acid-free, side-loading binder pages (avoid 3-ring binders with exposed metal rings, which can dent cards). Environment: Keep collection boxes in a cool, dry, climate-controlled space away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide! International shipping times vary by location, typically 7-21 business days. All packages are fully insured and tracked.

How are items packaged for shipping?

All collectibles are carefully packaged in protective sleeves, top loaders, and bubble wrap. Vintage packs are shipped in rigid cardboard boxes to prevent damage during transit.

Can I request specific cards or packs?

Absolutely! Contact us with your wishlist and we'll do our best to source specific items for you. We have access to a wide network of collectors and suppliers.

What do condition grades like NM, LP, MP, and HP mean?

Card conditions dictate physical state and market value: Near Mint (NM): Minimal to no visible wear. Crisp corners, clean edges, and light to no surface marks. Lightly Played (LP): Minor edge whitening, faint scratching, or light corner wear visible upon close inspection. Moderately Played (MP): Clear signs of wear, including noticeable edge whitening, scuffing, or minor surface creases. Heavily Played (HP) / Damaged (DMG): Major whitening, heavy scratches, structural creases, bent corners, or surface stains.
